Camping Verna is a small camp-site in the north-west of Italy in the "Cozie Alps", at about 900 Mt above sea level, at the foot of the new Natural Park of "Tre Denti & Freidour".
We have about 40 campers and tends patches, 4 Mini-Chalets, two static Caravan to hire and new toilet/shower facilities. The Mini-chalets are composed of two small bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk-bed, a fully furnished kitchen with gas stove, a bathroom with shower, satellite TV, DVD and Dvx reader; ideal for who wants the comfort of a hotel room, but prefers mountain location at an affordable cost. You will be able to cook your own food in the Mini-Chalets, as they are fully furnished with all you need to cook; dishes, pans, table-ware, all you need to provide is the food itself, and some can be purchased in the camp mini-store. But if you do not feel like cooking, besides the camp there is a beautiful Italian Restaurant ant that proposes typical local Piedmont dishes. The restaurant takes the name from the local mountain "Freidour" and it is very popular, therefore we suggest an advanced booking, specially for Saturdays and Sundays.

Umfeld:
The area is a quiet mountain site, located not far from the town of Turin (30Km) and Pinerolo (20Km). It is a wonderful place for who loves clean air and quiet places to take soothing and relaxing walks, climbing, mountain bike rides and such relaxing activities. We are away from the noise and the hectic life of the towns, but for who loves also a bit of movement or night-life,, it only take about 40 minutes to get to the town of Turin, 20 for Pinerolo, Giaveno, Avigliana and other local villages.

Anfahrt:
The nearest motorway exit is "Piscina", wich is also the nearest train station. From The village of Cumiana (8 Km form the camp-site, there is a Bus service to Turin and to Pinerolo, there is also a shuttle bus to and from Piscina. From Turin, take the direction "Pinerolo" and exit at "Piscina", then follow the sign to "Cumiana". When in Cumiana follow the direction to "Verna", the camp is located half way from "Verna" to "Ravera". The road is narrow and winding, therefore if you have a large Caravan you will need to be a good driver.
